I have an obsession with forests, this natural setting always makes for a beautiful back drop and can be found just about anywhere. Growing up in Canada, we were surrounded by beautiful parks and national forests everywhere and I believe this is where my fascination began. After the move to Florida one of the things I noticed right away was how different “forests” were here, instead of worrying about bears and wolves, I now worry about alligators and snakes! Since I wanted to get some candle lit portraits at the end of this session we now also have to worry about mosquitoes on top of that (thank goodness Zika is not a big concern anymore). I will admit, I’d take the bears over the mosquitoes! Our model Marissa, and stylist Sabrina were troopers–braving the heat, bugs and elements. Looking back at the photos we created I think it was all well worth it. Let us know what you think below!
